THE VEHICLES PETROL

MORE ADVANTAGES OF PETROL VEHICLES

Although electric and hybrid powertrains are gaining in popularity, non-electrified petrol-powered vehicles continue to appeal to many motorists.

Indeed, from an economic point of view, they are generally less expensive than diesels (MOROCCO ONLY)/electric powertrains (EUROPE ONLY).

Petrol-powered cars are still an attractive choice for many drivers, particularly for short distances and urban driving.

The petrol engine is lighter and offers faster revving, which provides a smoother and sportier driving feel. The versatility of petrol engines is an asset for drivers looking for vehicles suited to a wide range of uses.

Technological advances have allowed petrol engines to significantly reduce their fuel consumption, while offering enhanced performance.

Unlike a diesel engine, a petrol-powered car doesn’t need to heat up to reach its optimum power. It is therefore considered less polluting on short journeys.

What’s more, today’s manufacturers are making efforts to reduce their ecological impact. Euro 5 and 6 petrol-powered cars and Euro 5 and 6 petrol-powered light commercial vehicles (registered from January 2011) are eligible for the Crit’Air 1 sticker.
